Freezer meals

A lot of you have wondered how I keep my grocery bill so low. So I decided to share some of my favorite freezer meals with you. Here are two that freeze well and are cheep and easy to make. I have doubled this recipe for you to make 12-14 servings. Both of these meals can be seperated into freezer bags or containers.

This makes a great pasta sauce- SO YUMMY!

Place all these ingredients in a large crock pot for 6-8 hours on low.

3 lbs of ground turkey- cooked and drained (Walmart has this the cheepest about $1.20ish/lb)

4 onions chopped (fresh and easy has a bag of four for $.99)

2 garlic cloves- minced

1 stick of butter

3-4 cups of fresh mushrooms

2 can cream-styled corn

4 cans condensed tomato soup (Walmart's brand is the cheepest)

TO RE-HEAT:

Place mostly thawed or thawed sauce into a sauce pan and heat through. Serve over pasta of your choice.

Italian Bean Soup

Place all ingredients into a large crock pot and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

2 lbs precooked mild sausage- sliced

2 onions

2 cans red beans

2 cans black beans

2 cans white beans

28 oz beef broth

2 tsp dried Basil

4 TBS Parmesan cheese

2 cans diced tomatoes with juice

TO RE-HEAT: Place thawed soup into pot and heat through.
